Studio JINSIK KIM, a multiple studio based on design, sculpture, craft, installation and art direction, was founded from 2013 in Seoul by Jinsik Kim(b.1983). He is interested in the boundary between life and objects with people, and focuses more on the essence of materials, forms and creative thinking. Ultimately, his goal with design is to wake up people’s pureness in the bottom of brain and heart. Jinsik Kim is specialized in luxury design f ield. He graduated from a Master of Advanced Studies in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship at ECAL/ University of art and design in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also researched temporarily theoretical design about the influence of physical technology and 3D printer in the master department Contextual Design at Design Academy Eindhoven.
