The product’s design challenges the label of “minimalist design”. Instead, it embraces simplicity and timelessness — an approach that seeks to transcend passing trends and any particular era, remaining relevant across different contexts and periods. At the same time, it addresses a practical need through a design approach rooted in “Utilism”, a concept and manifesto developed in the late 1980s, according to which an object should fulfil its everyday purpose directly and effectively.
