Sandbox is a playful modular storage system designed to give displayed objects their own stage. In traditional storage units, displayed objects often get lost among the surrounding items. Sandbox responds by creating a flexible framework where each object can be highlighted through light, color, contrast, scale, and proportion. The system is built from a square wooden frame and a set of modular storage elements that can be arranged in endless combinations. Each composition creates new spaces between the elements, opening up additional ways to display, frame, and interact with the objects inside. The result is a cabinet that is not only used for storage, but also for curation- turning everyday objects into part of a changing visual composition.
